“Une arnaque à fuir !!!”
The place called “Saint Cloud Citea Access dayuse Room” is nothing like a hotel; it’s a total scam. After booking on 3 January, I never received any confirmation from the so‑called establishment. I asked for confirmation by email, but got no reply. All I had was a mobile number (+33660417648). When I tried calling that number, there was no answer either. A week before my arrival, I finally managed to reach the person in charge of the “Saint Cloud Citea Access dayuse Room” and was told the place isn’t a hotel but just a single room in a residence. On the day of my arrival, Monday 27 January from 17 h, I called the supposed manager again to get access to the room, but after several unanswered calls and a full voicemail, I sent SMS to the same number. The person replied that she was “in a meeting.” I kept texting my request for access to the “Saint Cloud Citea Access dayuse Room,” and to my surprise, she offered me another accommodation “larger at the same price in Issy‑Les‑Moulineaux.” I refused, insisting I had paid for the room supposedly on Rue du Calvaire in Saint‑Cloud (no further address detail). She then suggested we continue the conversation on WhatsApp. I agreed, sent messages, but she still didn’t reply. When I tried calling again, she still didn’t answer. A few minutes later, I unexpectedly received several WhatsApp messages with instructions to access the accommodation. Those instructions were incomprehensible (and even alarming, like a trap set in an apartment building), with different access codes for a first gate, then to press an intercom, then call the number once inside the building, and finally directions left and right to reach the entrance of the so‑called room. I was naturally frightened by those messages, deleted them, and immediately blocked the number to stop the harassment. I then contacted the customer service of the booking platform to explain my situation. Unfortunately, the scammer cleverly answered the customer service request, but I completely refused to follow the obscure directions given by him. “Saint Cloud Citea Access dayuse Room” is not a hotel; I never slept there and I booked a real hotel (Le Quorum in Saint‑Cloud). I therefore demand a full refund for my reservation in this phantom room, otherwise I will file a police complaint without condition. Thank you for a favorable response.
