The hostel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the toilets were clean. The owner was cheerful and helpful. The aircon can feel a little hot because of the room size, and the toilets can smell "damp".

The beds were huge and comfortable, and the curtains gave plenty of privacy. We could lock our bags in the large storage cubbies. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work in our room, so we had to use the lobby’s network; not a big issue, but after a long day I just wanted to relax in bed and browse a bit.

The staff were friendly, the bed was cozy, and the toiletries were handy. The location was great. The shower room was a bit cramped, but that was acceptable.

It’s a decent spot, but the guests are the strangest. I suspect it’s linked to the JK Rowling association. One guy blasted Fox News at full volume in the lobby all day, acting like he was everyone's best friend, and another woman had spontaneous, loud laughter bouts at any hour, for about ten minutes she was pounding her feet on anything she could find and seemed to suffocate. I almost called a mental‑health ambulance.
