The apartment was huge, near the center, shops, beach. The owner was super helpful and friendly. Everything was fine.

The apartment was big and clean in the village, close to the salt flats. All restaurants and services within walking distance. Total quiet. Maurizio was a fantastic host, very kind and super helpful, made our stay in Maio even better. Great to stay here. Highly recommended.

The place met all my expectations, but the real highlight is the island itself. About 2 km from the property is Wild Ponta Preta Beach, about 100 m wide and 10 km long. We were the only tourists there, beautiful white sand, a tiny waterfall, and nobody else. The main city beach is also nice and not overcrowded. The town is a bit sleepy but offers all the modern conveniences you need.
