When I told the clerk about evidence of past or current bed bugs, she moved me to another room with little hassle. A hotel room should have a comfortable bed and a hot shower, but this Extended Stay offered neither. No hot water—on an upper floor I waited 5 minutes and still had no hot water, then waited 10 minutes and it was barely warm enough to shower. The bed hurt my back and felt like it would ruin my self‑respect; if the bed were an animal, you’d take it out back and shoot it! It was lumpy and saggy. The first room they gave me had bugs, the carpets were sticky, the kitchen was icky, and the whole place was disgusting. I think the owners keep it this bad and expensive on purpose to raise the price of other hotels they own. Austin needs clean, safe hotels at all price points; this place is shameful.

Why isn’t this place inspected by management? I don’t want to start.

“Terrible hotle”

They assigned us to a room that hadn’t been cleaned. I cancelled because of fire alarm issues and they won’t refund my payment. They told me to call, but the staff were unwilling to help with my refund.

“Not worth the $$$”

The hotel’s spot was just minutes from the conference I was attending, but the room left a bad smell, the carpet looked dirty, and the floors felt sticky underfoot—overall a terrible experience that won’t happen again.
