Beautiful old building. The room was decorated in a nice, vintage style. Reception staff were pleasant. Plus, it’s practically in the city centre. Two evenings in a row at the restaurant, no beer. We tried to sign our names in the guest book, but a lady from the restaurant appeared and told us it was for the restaurant, not the hotel. I smoke outside near the ashtrays, and the same lady from the restaurant comes out and shooed me, saying that the smoke drifts in through a tiny window.

The location was great, the staff were very nice and helpful, and the facilities were beautiful. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had river views. The bike garage was useful and safe. The shower door was broken, but that didn’t matter much since I was alone and spent the day cycling. I know the Dolomites are pricey, but I felt it was a bit too expensive for not having breakfast included (+15€), Netflix, or similar services.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was good. My room was on the second floor, accessed by a staircase that wasn’t very convenient, especially as you get older 😅.

The location was perfect, just a 5‑minute walk to the city centre, and the room with a balcony was very nice in the quiet courtyard. We had a wonderful stay.
