The room’s furnishings were surprisingly cozy and pleasant, better than I’d imagined. However, I was disappointed that there was no coffee machine or specialty coffees; the only option was pre‑brewed filter coffee in thermoses on the breakfast tables, which felt out of place with the otherwise high standards of the hotel. The bacon and croissants served for breakfast also seemed rather “standard” to me.

The food and accommodation were excellent. The accessible room was clean and appealing, but the toilet was simply too low for me, and there was no grab bar to help lift myself.

The hotel sits on a picturesque town square, the staff are very nice, bike storage is excellent, and the large, modernized room in a charming building is great; dinner at the restaurant was delicious with huge portions, breakfast was just fine, and I have no complaints—highly recommended!

The room, food, and price are always great; this is our fourth visit and we always come back gladly, the butcher across the street is superb, and the Fleischkäs Weck is excellent; everything is good.
