It’s a quiet spot with beautiful scenery, and the old house itself is what draws attention. The value for money isn’t bad. The beds could be a bit more comfortable.

The rooms are very good. They have a kitchen and living room shared with other guests. There is no air conditioning.

The location, the house’s décor, and Gus’s friendliness and hospitality were all excellent. The rooms weren’t air‑conditioned—probably due to the building’s age, though I’m not sure—and it was hot in August. The hosts were aware of this “inconvenience” and supplied a fan for each occupied bed, which was appreciated.

The village house’s décor felt truly authentic and the kitchen‑dining area offered lovely views of the reading and games room, but the room only had air‑conditioning while two fans were also provided.
