The accommodation was fully equipped and family‑friendly with multiple rooms. The owner is very friendly and readily available because she lives nearby. The French‑style breakfast was complete. For everyone’s health, an English‑style breakfast would be preferable, but we’re in France! For dinner you need to go to the neighbouring commune and, if possible, book because arriving around 21:00 is too late. Then you have to go to Chagny (±14 km) for a kebab that isn’t among the best.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's simple yet functional design, which made it easy to navigate and relax. However, I felt that the hotel lacked a certain something, and I'm not quite sure what it was. Perhaps it was the lack of amenities or the quiet atmosphere, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised by the limited breakfast options, which actually made me appreciate the simplicity of the meal. However, I wish they had offered more variety to cater to different tastes. The hotel's quiet atmosphere was a welcome respite from the bustling city, but I did find the lack of options a bit restrictive. Overall, it was a decent stay.

“An okay stay”

We felt incredibly fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves during our stay, which added to the charm of the hotel. The covered garage parking was also a huge plus, as it kept our vehicle safe and dry. However, we did find the location to be quite isolated from the nearby town, requiring us to travel to access amenities. Additionally, the breakfast was basic but satisfactory, and we had to pay in cash, which was a bit inconvenient.

“Correct”

Overall, my stay was correct and clean, which were definite positives. However, I did find the communication with the host to be a bit limited, and the pillows left a lot to be desired. I wish we could have had more interaction with the host, as it would have made our stay feel more personal and welcoming.
