It was close to the train station and the owner was very lovely. The smell and the surrounding area were not good.
The owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants and spots to skip, greeting me warmly each day. As a retiree, I could have spent more on a pricier spot, but I only needed a place to sleep while touring, and this was just right for me.
The hotel is close to a metro stop and in a pretty central area, and the staff are very helpful. However, the room is a bit tight if you have suitcases, so I had to leave mine at the entrance. The shower was damp, and sometimes I struggled to circulate fresh air in the room.
