Paolo was exceptional—he handled reception, porter duties, cooking, guiding, and even played music all in one go.

The spot is great, right next to the ferry, and the staff are outstanding, but the bathroom feels somewhat dated.

Paolo was an amazing host who made us feel right at home in his beautiful guest house; he chatted about the Vangsnes area, the huge Viking statue, and other nearby sights, and even cooked a tasty meal that fit our dietary needs; his breakfast was superb and he went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and cared for, and we’re so grateful we could stay there.
