I was dissatisfied with the evening restaurant: the food was bland, the pizza half‑baked, there were sharp spots on the ceiling, and the waiter’s service was far from good; the hotel itself is nicely situated next to a medieval church, but the interior was dull and not worthy of a natural, fruit‑filled setting.

The room turned out to have a bathroom, but it was tiny, almost round, hard to stand in, and had no grab bars; we found a simple Margherita pizza should have cost 30 euros, so we didn’t order it; even though it didn’t seem crowded when we arrived in September, we weren’t offered a fjord‑view room—those are pricier, but if they’re available, a bit of politeness can help.
