“Great ski location, but shower needs attention”
The hotel sits right next to the ski runs, so hitting the lifts was effortless. Our room felt warm and the breakfast was decent, plus the sauna and pool offered a nice way to relax. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout. The only real drawback was some black mould on the shower walls that needed a proper clean.

Everything about this hotel hit the mark – it’s a stone’s throw from the lift, the staff were upbeat and always ready to help, and the meals were tasty. We left with great memories of our time in Tsakhkadzor.

The hotel checked all the boxes for my snow‑focused holiday – easy access to the runs, staff who were warm and attentive, and solid value for the price. I’d gladly point fellow winter travelers to this place.

The first couple of days were fine and the cleaning crew were genuinely friendly, even bringing us a nicely presented coffee at breakfast. Unfortunately the food quickly turned sour – the cheese was stale, the yogurt was practically inedible, and the only thing we could stomach was the milk porridge and boiled eggs. The pool’s filter was broken, so the water never felt right, and getting to the ski lift was a hassle because you have to go down to board.
