It was in a convenient area for our needs in Dallas and the lobby was very big and welcoming after a long drive. The location was around heavy traffic right off the highway and construction on the roads made it take forever to get to the hotel. Obviously it's not the hotels fault but just worth noting

The AC was the best I’ve ever had in any hotel; I liked it cold and could get my room very chilly! The hotel is dated, but they’re remodeling, so things will improve. The bed and pillows could have been upgraded, but they were fine for a weekend.

I appreciated the variety of pillows available for sleeping at night, and the mattress felt comfortable. Breakfast was simple but decent for the price. However, the fridge was very noisy and kept turning on, waking me up unless I was in a deep sleep, and the TV channels had poor reception.
