The host family was very friendly and happy to give us local tips. The room felt a bit cool but was spotlessly clean. Next time I’d try to get a ground‑floor room with a garden seat. We skipped breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. Driving in is great – plenty of free parking and the place is very close to the center of Neu‑Ulm and Ulm.

The reception was very friendly and the staff were welcoming; my motorcycle parked safely in the courtyard. The hotel’s equipment feels outdated, though.

Nothing positive. We chose to leave. We booked this as a last‑minute stopover after a day on the road and always look for something with a restaurant or a walk‑to eatery. Three spots in the ad said the hotel had an open restaurant, but that turned out not to be true because the lady said “vacation.” The tent was completely empty. We were offered an omelet or some tomato dish, which we found unacceptable. The nearest restaurant is a quarter‑hour drive. Cancellation wasn’t accepted. We decided to pay for a hotel a quarter‑hour away that actually had a restaurant. Booking couldn’t help us either (it takes over a week to get a reply). Apparently a hotel owner can claim facilities that don’t exist. It feels a bit like the Wild West on this platform. Lesson learned for next time: call first if you’re unsure.

The countryside calm, free parking, room freshness, no wait for check‑in or check‑out. The closet was hard to reach, cleanliness needs improvement, no table or chairs, the corner shower and toilet door is accordion‑style which works for one person but not two, there’s a hand‑washing station but no sink or toiletries rack. Acoustic isolation isn’t great – I woke up at 5 am from neighbor toilet and shower noise. It could be a B&B but not a hotel; the Wi‑Fi code is outdated and won’t connect. The receptionist doesn’t speak the local language. At €80 it’s too pricey for the service; once payment is made there’s no way to cancel, and I found a better option in a big city the day before. No dining was advertised on Booking, which was why we chose it. Too bad, but it was only a one‑night stay.

The room was very new. We got an upgrade because the CD wasn’t fully booked (room with a bathroom). A tea kettle in the vestibule with tea/coffee. Quick check‑in even though we booked for 21:30. Everything was very clean. It’s quite remote. We booked the room for a layover. It’s small, but the essential amenities were there.
