“Falta de atenção”
The breakfast was good. I’ve stayed at many places, but unfortunately Hotel Abricó was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. For the price charged, I expected much better service and facilities. I do want to acknowledge the positives, and I tip my hat to the breakfast, which truly deserves praise. Beyond that, there were few aspects that pleased me. One of the biggest problems was the internet. Today, we know a good connection is practically indispensable in a stay. Unfortunately, during our stay it rained a lot, which made us spend much more time inside the hotel. And over the three days we simply had no internet. What bothered me even more was not just the lack of connection, but the lack of consideration. I approached the staff, explained the situation, and asked them to check what could be done. They said they would look into it, but they never returned to give any feedback. To me, a word does not make a curve. No one is obliged to promise anything, but when you commit to checking or solving something, the minimum you expect is a response—even if it’s to say it couldn’t be solved. There were other points that also left something to be desired, but I don’t feel it’s necessary to list them. I want to leave this review mainly as a way to record my huge dissatisfaction with the lack of attention, consideration, and empathy I felt during the stay. High price isn’t necessarily a problem when there is quality and good service. What disappoints is paying a lot and, when we need the minimum support, being simply ignored.
