The spot is gorgeous and the room was spotless, nicely decorated, and the breakfast was truly fantastic – a real highlight. The only thing that kept me tossing at night was the mattress; it’s a spring‑type that feels pretty soft and didn’t give much support. After a few days I’d have liked a few extra towels left in the room without having to ask.

Everything was great – the location, the room, the breakfast and the hosts all hit the mark. Nothing really stood out as a problem, just a solid, pleasant stay.

The view over the bay is incredible; if you’re lucky you’ll catch a whale cruising by. The hosts are wonderful, cooking a dinner that’s hard to beat and keeping the table lively with other guests. Breakfast was just as memorable, and we’re definitely planning to come back.

A sea‑view room gave us front‑row seats to whales each morning, and we even spotted puffins out on the water. The breakfast spread was tasty, and the wine, tea and coffee options added a nice touch; we’d also recommend trying the dinner. Paula and Pablo were friendly hosts, and the place makes a good base for the Irish Loop. Just remember it’s a B&B – you’ll hear the usual house creaks and meet other guests more often than in a hotel, which we found charming.
