“Started off really disappointed but was upgraded so much better in the end. Food was amazing”

When I mentioned my disappointment with the room to reception, they upgraded us to a more suitable space and the food was fantastic. I paid $500 per night, breakfast included, so expectations were high; the lack of a smart TV meant I couldn’t stream Netflix or Apple TV, which was let‑down, especially since the property was marketed as a 5‑star. The bathroom looked dated with cracked tiles and the view was just a brick wall. After speaking with reception, we were moved to a noticeably better room.

“Great location, excellent eating choices within hotel and convenient car park access”

The hotel sits across from Albert Park, close to the city, St. Kilda, Prahran, and other popular spots, and the car park was very accessible. However, the room was often not ready until after 3 pm, which was frustrating after work, and I was charged for minibar items I didn’t use.

Room, bed, staff, ambience. I put out my tab for the room to be cleaned but it wasnt. All good though I just rang for some toilet paper
