A decent spot for a brief visit, with welcoming staff and a convenient location near the train station and city center. The downside is the luggage storage after check‑out: the price is awful, and even the “L” lockers are too small for two cabin bags, so we had to rent two “L” lockers and pay for the entire day because we left our bags there for over six hours.

Walking from Central Station to the Ostello Bello in Bologna was a breeze, and it sits close to the main tourist spots. The hostel is solid, with a friendly team and plenty of facilities, and I easily met other travelers. I also enjoyed the karaoke night on Wednesday evening. When I hit another big Italian city, I’ll definitely book Ostello Bello again!

The location is fantastic. However, the room was very hot and noisy, even though there were plenty of signs telling guests to contact reception about temperature. They handed out free eye masks and ear plugs at reception.

This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a cool, vibey spot with great people, entertainment, a bar, and a regular cultural program (karaoke, flowers, etc.). The staff are awesome. I arrived at 12:00 am and had no issues. Everything was perfect.
