The staff were great and the rooms were spacious.

The morning shower had no hot water, and the TV wouldn’t switch to smart mode.

It’s an attractive boutique hotel with a large room and bathroom. Nice bar and restaurant. I didn’t use the gym, but it’s good to have. Downtown, central location. Our biggest issue was the person who stomped across the floor above us from 11 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Since this is an older property without wall‑to‑wall carpeting, it’s the risk you run staying here — unless you stay on the top floor, which we will request next time.

The room was amazing—clean, large, well‑appointed, everything you could want. Skip Tim's across the street and grab coffee at the shop in the same building; the service and pastries were fantastic. The only snag was that the thermostat wouldn’t switch from HEAT to COOL at night—I should have called down to have someone check it. Parking was great—safe, clean, close—but the instructions were vague; I didn’t understand how long I could stay and then couldn’t exit the parkade, a comedy of errors between my confusion and the unresponsive call button.
