“Disastro”
The only positive was the location. We booked a room because our flight was cancelled, sent a message to the hotel and never got a reply. When we arrived the rooms were disassembled, hot water was nonexistent, the room was cold – a disaster, and it didn’t justify the price.
Location was fine. We checked in at 11:00. I can’t even begin. The room was large, two‑room, but all the furniture was very old and broken. The mattresses and pillows were horrible. The bedding was shabby, dirty, with old and new stains. Everything smelled of age and dampness. There is a kitchen, but I don’t understand the concept. If there’s a range hood, dishes, a frying pan, and it’s expected that someone will cook, why is there no dish soap or rag? I felt awkward leaving unwashed dishes for other guests, and I’m doubtful they would wash them. The worst thing was the bathroom: everything was rusty and barely held together, and the layout was strange. There was no shower cubicle, no drainage lip, no curtain, and the shower was opposite the toilet. Any attempt to take a quick shower ended in a worldwide flood. The last thing I wanted to do on vacation was wash the toilet floor several times a day. The most unpleasant thing was that there was NO SOAP in the bathroom. There was nothing to wash my hands with. This is unhygienic and absolutely unacceptable, especially in summer heat. It’s dangerous for health. I ask the owner to pay special attention to cleanliness; soap should be in the bathroom even in public toilets. We stayed in September, the price wasn’t high, but I still regret the money spent.
“Just what I needed for an overnight stop.”
The hotel was close to town, which was all I needed for a night’s stopover. My plane was delayed, but within minutes of calling the owner he was there. The only issue was that my room was in the basement and there was no air‑conditioning control. Because I had arrived late, I didn’t want to bother the owner again once I realized.
The only advantage was the good position, close to the city centre, just a few minutes from taverns and shops. On arrival I struggled to find parking. The room was small, with old, worn furniture, faded linens, a cramped bathroom where the toilet was almost against the sink, making it hard to sit, and the shower curtain was on me. The shower cubicle was for children, so there was no space to wash. No toiletries, soap or shower gel were provided. The towels were old, stained and yellowed, the fridge ran nonstop, as if it were sleeping with me in bed. Internet was nonexistent in the rooms; I was told to go down to the basement for the router or stand on the stairs for signal. The staff were rude and unfriendly. I absolutely do not recommend this accommodation.
The room was large but had no window. The beds felt like concrete, so I didn’t sleep much. The listing on the booking site was completely wrong; the place was farther away. I wrote and called when we couldn’t find the location, but received no reply. Don’t stay here; there are so many nice places.
