The receptionists were super nice and accommodating! Traffic was a hassle.
“Always my go to place in Matthews, NC”
Convenient to everything. No comment
“Holiday Inn Express was amazing!”
Everything was exceptional: breakfast, location, staff, parking, and the beds were fantastic—nothing to complain about.
The facility and room were clean, and the staff were nice. The toilet seat was almost falling off, the shower head was in bad shape, and breakfast was mediocre.
“Great staff and facilities/amenities”
Very clean facilities in a calmer area than other hotels. The staff were phenomenal—both young women who checked us in and when we returned from our event were helpful and courteous, and the older gentleman who checked us out was warm and hospitable. The room was very clean and updated. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were sweet, breakfast had good variety, and the coffee was fresh! I’ll stay here again when I return. The only “negative” is traffic, which is outside the hotel’s control; just plan ahead and leave 30 min early to avoid a long drive. That's Charlotte for ya!
