“Uninhabitable Quadruple Room & Health Hazard – Avoid!”

The location was fine, but beware: the Quadruple Room at Hotel Espresso was uninhabitable because of heavy dampness, moisture damage, mold, and a terrible odor. Since it was the only Quadruple room and the rest of the hotel was fully booked, the management could not offer an alternative. We had to leave right away. The manager admitted the room was unacceptable and refunded 3 of the 4 nights, yet they wrongfully charged us for the first night—just a single hour in a room we couldn’t stay in because of health risks. This was a severe health hazard, zero room availability, and an unacceptable resolution.

“Ok per una notte”

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a coffee machine that cost 2€ for a decent cup, which was a nice touch for a Dutch stay 😅 They also offered to hold luggage while you explored the city. My partner said the room wasn’t the cleanest.

The staff were courteous, the location was excellent, and the coffee was good. I also liked being able to eat at the tables in the lobby, which had a microwave.

The hotel’s location is perfect. The neighborhood is very charming and full of options within walking distance. It’s a great base for reaching any part of the city without living in the frantic, ultra‑tourist center. I can’t point out anything I didn’t like because everything met the expectations. It’s highly recommended for its convenience and great location. No complaints.

Friendly staff were great and handled every request without any problems, and the location was perfect. However, the room wasn’t as clean as it could have been—I found a used ear bud on the chair, though the rest of the room was spotless.
