“Oribil”
The cleanliness was poor, especially in the bathroom but throughout the entire guesthouse. Dirty mops, a likely closed‑air smell from old furniture, red stains in the shower (maybe rust or something else), dirty spots on the toilet (probably only the basin was cleaned, if at all). Rust was present on a dish in the bathroom. In the bedroom, two smaller mattresses were placed on the bed, causing back pain at night because they weren’t the same height. When we arrived, the staff asked to see the reservation; I thought they needed the reservation number, but they actually cancelled it without explanation. Everything was heard from the hallway; it felt like people were entering your room, and on the last day, around 7:30‑8:00, they started talking loudly in the hallway and slamming doors—hard to sleep because you felt like someone was in your room, and the noise was intense; the door was oddly shaped. Water pressure was extremely low, barely flowing, probably to conserve water. The bathroom smelled very bad like sewage. I asked for towels and they smelled unwashed and slightly urine‑like. The walls were not clean. The rug was torn and for one person only. The rug and the bedding were small, clearly not for two people. The linens had a smell; I don’t know if they were washed or changed. We’re not picky about accommodation, but this was horrific, and the price of 200 lei per night doesn’t justify it, especially since we booked early in spring, so it can’t be called a high price for a short‑term booking.
