The room and bathroom were huge and the bed was very comfortable. But the box was too small, the breakfast was disappointing with few options and what was offered didn’t appeal (many hot dishes like pasta, meatballs). The breads and croissants were dry and hard. The juice wasn’t cold. There was a door in the hallway in front of our room that kept banging nonstop.

The rooms were spacious and the first‑class massage was a highlight, but the bar staff, especially the unhappy blonde, treated us like beggars as if we were in a communist regime. English communication was poor, and we were never switched to a Junior Suite even though an email promised a birthday upgrade; the explanation was a translator error, so the English service point was even more unrealistic. Breakfast was awful, coffee was a joke, and it felt like we overpaid for a hotel in the center with a decent spa.

The room had a big TV, a big bed, and plenty of mirrors, and the receptionist was very helpful. I asked for water that day after opting out of cleaning and was charged 1100 tenge. Wi‑Fi was slow and intermittent, so I had to rely on my own data. The hairdryer was broken, and there’s always a fishy smell in the toilet area regardless of how many times I flush.
