The breakfast was a perfect 10, with fresh tapioca and omelette made on the spot, but one guy at reception who greeted us in the middle of the night was rude and short‑spoken; the hotel is close to Horto de Padre Cícero and the cable car, though the bathroom felt grimy and was full of spiders and cobwebs on the ceiling.

The pool was spotless and the staff were friendly, but the room had some issues. The AC didn’t cool enough and the intercom was dead, so it was a bit frustrating. Overall, a decent stay with a few hiccups.
