L'emplacement à l'entrée de la forêt. Il manquait un ventilateur de plafond

The pool is huge and the room feels spacious; breakfast is adequate and the hosts are helpful and discreet, with great facilities. The reception was minimal, with almost no conversation, and the sliding bathroom door offers no sound insulation between the toilet and the bedroom. The check‑in after 4 pm and check‑out before 11 am mean you can’t fully enjoy the pool, and the summer night was a bit chilly—an extra duvet would have been nice.

I liked the place, though it might have benefited from a TV, though maybe that isn’t part of the design.

The room was roomy, stylish, tastefully decorated, with a large bed and plenty of circulation space, plus a big wardrobe; the hosts were friendly yet discreet, and the view of the hill behind the cottage was stunning. However, the bathroom had a yellow card warning: the liquid soap dispenser was almost empty and broken, no shower gel or shampoo (luckily we had a spare soap), and hot water took more than five minutes to arrive. The cottage itself is beautiful but still under renovation: the veranda that serves as a reception area with many tables looks unfinished, so we opted to have breakfast inside a small room that felt a little cold; a bit of ambient music and a chat with guests would improve the vibe. Parking was confusing—only two small spots, one used by staff, on a narrow, uneven street with traffic; it’s hard to park if you have more than one car, and the slope is steep.

The place was very quiet, nothing else to add.
