“Posticino romantico”

The location and on‑site restaurant were great, with excellent dishes and a welcoming room; the staff were kind and helpful. The only downside was that we waited an hour and a half for dinner, and then had to rush because it was late and cold in August, so we ate outside. We couldn’t tell if there was a kitchen issue, nobody mentioned it, and other guests left the table frustrated without eating.

The property was well maintained, offered dinner with great food, covered parking handy for motorcyclists, and a lake view. The only drawback was the spiral staircase to the room.

“Marvelous place with cute garden and incredible food.”

What a wonderful spot! I expected a place right on the water, but it’s on the street with a lake view that’s a few minutes by car away. Still, it’s a hidden gem. The rooms are simple yet cozy, each with a small balcony, table, and chairs where we set up our own breakfast. The restaurant is stunning, tastefully decorated, and the garden features chairs, hammocks, tiny gazebos, and flowers everywhere. The food was by far the best I’ve had in two weeks in Romania—delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and we fell in love with it. Free parking is available on site. The only issue is that the pension sits on the street, so passing cars and trucks can be a bit noisy, but nothing major compared to the excellent service.
