No one got to stay because Maclear Manor cancelled our fully prepaid reservation without any notice. They had guests who wanted to extend, and instead of telling them the hotel was fully booked, they cancelled our booking. If we hadn’t called about breakfast, we wouldn’t have known. It was paid in full and, because of my profile name, they told the travelers that they’d spoken to me. When I called to discuss it, I was met with lies, the owner refused to talk to me, and the person I spoke to, Dee, lied about the owner leaving the premises (I could hear their conversation because the headset wasn’t covered or muted). It’s appalling. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
