“Peaceful night away”

Lovely farmhouse. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. No TV or tea/coffee in the room, but both were available in the lounge.

“A peaceful and relaxing stay.”

Breakfast was great, with proper Cumberland sausage and butchers bacon. The bed was excellent, so comfortable and large; I slept like a baby. The farmhouse sits in a beautiful picturesque valley that would fit right into a Constable painting. Being there felt like stepping back in time, in a good way. There wasn’t any downside.

“It was ok . Rooms need a full on overhaul . Basic and unappealing didn’t want to be in the room at all ugly & totall”

The view was great. No interaction with the host whatsoever; it’s your business! Be present! I only saw her for the pull‑up parking and key hand‑off. I did not like the one‑hour breakfast slot. 8‑9am is a bit ridiculous for a B&B; people are on vacation! They might like a lie, I think. I also do not like putting breakfast order in the night before – I don’t know what I want to eat in the morning the night before. Also expected locally sourced bacon, sausages, chicken eggs, decent bread – we got Aldi ingredients. Not worth the money charged! Doors slamming all the time, it’s not restful.

The breakfast was very good, cooked fresh each morning, and served very well. The staff were very friendly, always willing to help out with what they could. No, I didn't have any dislikes; my whole stay was very enjoyable
