Arion is a lovely little family‑run hotel where the owners clearly pour their hearts into every detail, from the beautiful design and art to the sparkling clean rooms and main areas, and the homemade breakfasts. The family is warm and helpful, and our room offered a spectacular ocean view. Highly recommended.

It was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our Greek summer trip. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast outstanding with daily homemade treats, and we appreciated all their recommendations and how they met every need. The views from our room were spectacular, and the sunbeds were amazing. Nothing could be better!

The hotel is a manor house in the elegant Ermoupoli district, perched on the city’s highest point overlooking the Aegean Sea, offering hypnotic views of those historically rich waters. The peace and silence are astonishing, and watching sunrise from the bed over the Aegean is unforgettable. Everything is exquisite: architecture, décor, countless details, and staff attention. The breakfast is sublime, à la carte and varied, with the most exquisite homemade organic jams one can find. Ermoupoli itself is beautiful, elegant, and tranquil, with unmistakable Venetian charm, largely Greek and free of overwhelming mass tourism. The port offers a wide gastronomic range, including wonderful local taverns for memorable moments with locals. The charming medieval town of Ano Syros, adjacent to Ermoupoli, is a must‑visit. The island also offers various beaches for every taste.

I was blown away by the breakfast – fresh, tasty dishes served on beautiful plates, a freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade dough bread, and a surprise snack each day that made it feel like staying at a home instead of a hotel. The vibe was just wonderful.
