The staff were rude, the bathroom tiles had long black hair on them, the pool was closed with no mention at booking, mosquitoes buzzed in the room, the bed was uncomfortable, loud banging noises outside continued until 11 pm, and there was a stain on the towel.

The family room was amazing, with separate sleeping areas so we weren’t all in the same space. The staff were friendly. Bar food and drinks were very good. The location was excellent – easy to reach from the M5.

The food was great. My room was on the opposite side of the building from the reception desk; I tried calling them from the room and they never answered, which is quite poor.

The hotel sits in a convenient spot with plenty of walking options nearby, offers ample parking, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but the building feels tired and needs a serious overhaul; breakfast is acceptable, yet I’ve had far better value for the price elsewhere.

The hotel is lovely, the staff are helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, and we’d stay there again for excellent value, though the swimming pool was closed during our visit, which I knew from the booking details.
