“Wow!”
The views from the bedroom and balcony were absolutely stunning, but it was Granny Borjomi’s warmth that made this stay truly special. I arrived looking and smelling like I’d just crawled out of the mountains, covered in mud and still wearing my hiking clothes, and Granny welcomed me as if I were family. I immediately felt completely at home. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed, but the real highlight was the incredible kindness and hospitality. Food really is the language of kindness here, and Granny speaks it fluently! Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and she seems to know how to make everything, from homemade liquor to cakes and all sorts of wonderful food. There is something wonderfully genuine about staying somewhere where you are treated less like a guest and more like someone who has simply come home. Granny’s warmth, generosity and beautiful hospitality made this stay one I’ll remember. And those mountain views from the balcony? The perfect bonus.
