The staff were friendly, the room was amazing and I was upgraded to something more like a suite—perfect for the station. The kitchen and terrace were great, and there was plenty of free food. In other Ostello Bellos I could get free tea and coffee all day from the machine, but that wasn’t always available here—only downside.

The location was great, the kitchen and groceries were available, and the breakfasts were good. The metal drawers under the bed made a horrible loud noise when pulled out, especially at night.

The location was good, I met fantastic people, and the kitchen offered free food and ingredients so you can cook. The terrace was very nice, so I’ll definitely return. I had my medicine stolen from the kitchen (even though it was labeled with my name). The shower area had mold, and the emergency cord that should have been white was completely black because of the mold.

Everything was nice: room size, breakfast, common areas, and staff. The overall vibe upon entering was light and fun. It’s right in front of Genova Piazza Principe train station, so it couldn’t be better! The style and decor in the common areas are superb and perfectly capture the hostel‑for‑youngers vibe, but that quality doesn’t carry over to the rooms, which feel like typical Italian seaside hotel rooms with a lot of unused space, somewhat old furniture, and bathrooms that need a little love. The price is also too high in my opinion: 175 € for one night in a double at a hostel feels a bit of a rip‑off.
