“False advertising.”
The advertising was false. I strongly believe this property needs investigation and a review of how it is presented on your platform. The description and presentation are completely misleading and did not reflect the actual condition. We arrived with a group of Christian school children after a long journey, only to find the accommodation in an unacceptable state. We were placed in an extremely uncomfortable and difficult position, as we then had to find suitable alternative accommodation for our group at short notice. Our expectations were very basic: clean, safe accommodation with facilities that are in reasonable working condition. Unfortunately, the property was far from meeting these basic standards. The condition of the place was disgusting and completely inconsistent with how it is presented. We were also extremely concerned by the handwritten messages and signage displayed outside the property. These were completely unprofessional and inappropriate for an establishment presented in the manner it is on your website. This was, without a doubt, one of our worst accommodation experiences. More concerning is that there were numerous negative reviews about this property available online, which raises serious questions about why it continues to be advertised in this way. This experience has seriously affected our trust in your platform. I strongly urge you to investigate this property, review the existing complaints and reviews, and ensure that the information and photographs on your website accurately represent the accommodation. I hope you will take this matter seriously, update the listing where necessary, and prevent other travellers—particularly families and groups—from being placed in the same situation.

The reading light bulb over the bed flickered constantly, so I had to turn it off. The carpet needed a deep clean, as did the hallway and reception area. The entrance to the lodge required a thorough cleaning and water blast; it looked like it hadn’t been done in ages, giving a terrible first impression regardless of what you pay for your room. Hospitality is all about detail.
Nothing good at all; the place was filthy with stains on the carpet, a knife, pills, dirt, and a fingernail under the bed. I raised the issue immediately and was told the hotel was full and couldn't move us, told to call the next day for a refund, but then told I should have left that night. Service was poor.

The nightly rate is cheap and they offer paid parking. The reception was unstaffed; I arrived at 2 pm and wasn’t sure where it was, but when we finally found it it was locked like Fort Knox. I had to call the hotel’s number to arrange for a cleaner to come down and check us in, and she wasn’t very friendly. We paid $15.00 per night for parking, but the motel room was run down and in desperate need of repair. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling, the vanity basin was wobbly, and the kitchen walls had been patched but not painted. Cleanliness was far from satisfactory, and the place was in a state that would make anyone bang on hell’s doors.
