The location was unique, the building itself was atypical, and the staff were very kind. The only downside was the steep staircase in the room that made accessing the bathroom a bit of a climb.

The building is gorgeous, the owner is super helpful, and it’s smack‑dab in the historic district, giving the feeling of staying in old shophouses. It’s a bit rustic—don’t book if you’re after a modern, five‑star hotel—but that’s exactly what makes it great. I’d stay again and would recommend it.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with plants and antiques, and it’s well‑situated near many tourist spots that you can walk to, yet it remains very quiet. We stayed in the family room, which was very peaceful and comfortable; the beds felt very cozy and the linens were soft. I tried the omelettes at breakfast and found them delicious. Communication with Kent was smooth and the staff were very friendly.
