The rooms were tidy, the beds were good and the pool was a nice addition. We had booked a breakfast slot the previous day, but the kitchen ran out of glasses, bacon, Karelian pies, egg butter, oatmeal, and the fillings for the pancakes. All the sweet items were fresh and the croissants were offered as well. When another guest complained, the waiter replied flatly, “how do we know who comes when, and then the sports team comes and eats everything.” No apologies, no understanding that the guest had paid a good price for breakfast and had scheduled a time. The hotel still has a lot to improve in customer service, but otherwise it’s a nice place for one night.
