The lodge’s setup, its spot, and the staff were spot on, and nothing bothered me at all.

What really stood out was how clean everything was and the food, from breakfast to the meals sold in the hotel, all tasty and nicely presented; the only downside was that the air‑conditioner in our room wasn’t working when we arrived, but they fixed it right away, and there was no shower close to the bathtub in the room or outside.

Everything was very clean, organized, cozy and family‑friendly; we came with a 9‑month‑old baby and had no issues, and they even offered to warm the baby’s food daily; breakfast was plentiful and tasty; the support area was under renovation but still pretty; the only point was that we were told at check‑in that beach chairs wouldn’t be available, yet later we saw other guests with the lodge’s chairs, which left us uncertain; otherwise, no faults, and we recommend it.

“Decepção total: estadia arruinada por obras pesadas e falta de respeito com o hóspede.”

The location was the only thing that was good; my husband, son, and I went to relax at the lodge, but the experience was terrible from start to finish because heavy construction was happening all over the property. On Sunday (16/08) we checked in at 16h and were given a ground‑floor room facing the pool; at 16h30 we tried to use the pool but were hit with a deafening noise from a chainsaw and a grinder in a neighboring cabin; we left to escape the noise, and when we returned around 20h the workers were still on site; at 21h, while we were on the balcony hammock, workers were still passing by carrying materials in front of our door—unacceptable for a Sunday night. On Monday (17/08) during breakfast we saw the pool was completely closed with men cleaning the tiles inside; we spent the whole day outside at Praia do Patacho; when we came back at 17h the pool was still closed. On Tuesday (18/08) the pool was reopened but the water was extremely cloudy and unsuitable; we went to the beach area (where the lodge promises a deck, gazebo, and gourmet area); upon arrival nothing worked and the space was taken up by workers dismantling the roof and deck structure; it was impossible to stay at the lodge; we were constantly disturbed by construction noise, workers circling our cabin door, and all leisure areas were unusable. Given all these problems we checked out a day early because there was nothing to enjoy; at reception we were told “they could do nothing”; we asked for a refund of the unused night (since we were forced to leave due to the lodge’s neglect), but they refused; we contacted Booking, which tried to mediate, but the lodge remained inflexible and refused the refund. I do not recommend it at all.
