We checked in during the low season around 21:00, and the manager, who was the only guest that night, took us to a nearby creek for a night walk to catch crabs and shrimp, while also giving the kids an environmental lesson. After observing the shrimp and crabs, we released them all back into the creek – a surprisingly delightful little excursion.

The accommodation is about ten minutes from the city, the resort shows signs of age but is still well maintained, the rooms are simple, and overall it’s a decent stay. Some plants are wilted; if the plant life could be restored, the resort would feel more vibrant.
