“A lovely place to stay and relax! Wish we could have stayed longer!”

We had an outstanding stay at Harrabeer; the hosts were fantastic and always ready to help, the beds were supremely comfortable, and breakfast was a treat, especially the selection of homemade breads and jams; everything ran smoothly and the rooms were beautifully presented, with a sitting room stocked with games, books, and magazines, and it was great to chat with other guests – we’ll definitely book again if we’re back in England.

“Lovely atmosphere, peaceful surroundings and great proprietors.”

I’m writing on behalf of a group of close friends who had to book this hotel at the last minute because something came up at home; we couldn’t praise it enough – the owners were incredibly helpful and fascinating to chat with about music, which is also our passion, and it was a relief to know we could leave our guests in their care – they just wish they could have stayed longer.

“Good overnight stop”

We were greeted warmly, the room was small but typical of an old house, the bed was comfortable and the quiet setting made for a restful night, the host offered solid restaurant recommendations, the bathroom was adequate with a slightly small shower that still worked, and breakfast was cooked to order and nicely presented.
