I’m already planning my next trip back to Pinedale, and this place will be my first pick. The spot is spot‑on, the room feels super comfy, and the common area has a great vibe. Coffee’s a lifesaver at Obo’s across the street at 5AM—essential for anyone hitting the trailhead early!
“Inexpensive place to stay in the heart of Pinedale.”
I loved staying in Pinedale and even met friends who were also at Sundance. Prices were reasonable, and the room was clean and well kept. The AC is a central unit shared by many rooms, so it can be a bit noisy. There’s very little light if you like to read, and the switches inside the door won’t turn on any lights in the room—you have to leave the door or the shade open to activate a wall light.
“Cozy, good location but bare minimum experience”
The sheets and bed were great and very cozy. The bathroom could use separate switches for the light and the fan; having them together means no light unless the fan is on, which is super annoying. That alone means we won’t be returning.

The spot’s right in the middle of the restaurants and Main Street, which is handy. The bathroom is so tiny you can’t even turn around. There’s no way to set a different temperature in the room.
