We've been back to this hotel multiple times and it's always been a pleasure. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. We've tried a few different hotels in the area but keep coming back to this one because it just feels like home.
“Un séjour atypique au milieu de la jungle”
Staying at Dos Ojos was a real treat - the jungle setting, the beautiful park, and the stunning pool all combined to create a luxurious camping experience. We loved being surrounded by birds and iguanas, and the scenery was breathtaking. However, we did think that some extra lighting around the campsite would have been helpful, especially when heading to the bathrooms at night. It would also have been great to have some simple path lighting to make it easier to navigate the grounds.
“Back to basics in een prachtige setting”
The campsite had its highs and lows. The pool was absolutely stunning, and our tent was really nice too. The location was one of a kind, and the food was delicious. However, we had a major issue with the water supply one day - we were in the middle of showering when we realized there was no water coming out. We ended up having to sleep in a sweaty mess, and it wasn't fixed until the next evening. To make matters worse, the tents were sweltering hot, even with the two small fans provided.
“Beau site mais dommage”
The pool was definitely the highlight of our stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, considering the price we paid, we felt like we were missing out on some basic amenities. The check-in process was a bit of a hassle, and there was no bar on site, which was a letdown. We also found it odd that the ping-pong table was set up but lacked a ball. To top it off, the breakfast buffet didn't even offer fresh fruit juice, which was a bit of a disappointment.
“Prachtig en zeer relaxed!”
I've never seen a place as stunning as this, with a breathtakingly unique pool built into a cenote. The jungle surroundings are incredibly peaceful, and it's only a 15-minute drive from Tulum. It's actually a great choice for July and August, when the beaches are covered in seaweed and don't smell as fresh. The only thing that's got me stumped is.
