Staying at Vinaya Homestay met all my expectations: the rooms were clean and spacious, all necessities were provided, the family was kind and welcoming, there’s a lovely garden and a temple on the grounds, and as a solo female traveler I felt safe and cared for; the dog Bolli was a great guard, the natural sounds and fresh air made each morning wonderful, I stayed six nights while attending a nearby Pranayama Course, breakfast was delicious, and I would definitely return and recommend it. The family even invited me to join a large temple ceremony, which was unforgettable. Thanks to Ibu Made, Pak Ketut, and their three wonderful kids for everything! The Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty, but that seemed more about the internet provider and general signal than the property, and otherwise there was nothing negative.

The room itself is lovely, breakfast is great, everything is very clean, and the family is very nice, but there’s little privacy—only light comes through glass doors facing the yard, so it feels like living in a zoo, the family can be noisy, and the dog is terrible, barking all the time and biting if you try to befriend him.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place really won me over. The stay was very pleasant, thanks in part to the hosts' effort and the kindness of their family on site. I recommend this establishment with my eyes closed, especially for solo travelers—the hosts take care of everything, are very attentive and flexible. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and generosity are all present.
