The location and the rbb station design were fine, but the mattress was cheaply made with criss‑cross metal springs that caused severe pelvic pain the next day for a 28‑year‑old, leaving my back in total disarray.

The accommodation was very comfortable, conveniently located, and the service impeccable; they let us leave our belongings after check‑out, and we were absolutely thrilled. No complaints at all.

The hotel sits in a prime spot on the road out of the city and near a metro stop, with underground garage parking offered at a reasonable rate; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning lady did a great job. Though the building shows age, the room was cozy, the beds comfortable and clean, and for the nightly price it provides solid conditions and everything needed for a short stay in Berlin, plus decent city views from the upper floors. On the downside, some carpeting was dirty and dusty, windows let in heat and noise, there was corrosion at the bathtub edge, and the card failed to open the underground parking door even after the reception re‑encoded it.

Enjoyed the free drink fro m the bar and the nice underground parking, not cheap, but nice to have a private and safe parking space. During our stay, there was a big group of teenagers came in to the breakfast area for breakfast, it was obviously un-expected so the kitchen staff were not able to keep up with the food consumption demand, although they reacted quickly, there were still food items not replenished quick enough. We had a flight to catch so unfortunately we could not wait for the food. This is something can be better planned and coordinated in the kitchen in advance when there are big group of people signing up for breakfast
