The price was good, but the room smelled like smoke.

“Disgusting”

I could barely squeeze into the bathroom, which was filthy and smelled like mold at the base of the bed; the blankets and sheets were stained, and the room itself was dirty. We had to haul our own trash to the dumpster because the room was never swept during our stay, and we even found a used fake fingernail on the floor beside the bed. The ceiling was peeling and stained, the pool was closed, and we struggled with the front desk over payment issues—after we finally paid, they demanded a credit card for the remaining balance even though we had paid in full beforehand. The mini‑fridge was gross, the location dispenser was taped to the wall, and breakfast was lackluster: generic cereal that tasted old and hard bagels. The ice and laundry rooms were absolutely disgusting, as if never cleaned or even wiped down; broken mirrors surrounded the dumpster. It seemed like housekeeping staff lived in some rooms, making the place utterly disgusting.

The hotel offered convenient truck and trailer parking, which was a major plus.

Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge; it was hidden from the road and required passing by twice, so trimming the bushes would help. The room’s small refrigerator leaked.
