“Hôtel à déconseiller”
We arrived at the hotel and found a glass door with a person behind an intercom who gave us a code. We asked for the code to enter, but the number we called turned out to be wrong! We had to find another hotel at 10 pm that night.
“Girona antigua y monumental”
The location is fantastic, endless relaxation, very comfortable beds, and the hotel overall is picturesque and pretty. The only downside is that it’s a fourth‑floor building without an elevator, with very narrow and tight stairs that leave you exhausted when carrying luggage.
“For just an overnight stay, it was a good place to get an idea of the city.”
Hostal Milana is on 3rd floor of a traditional building in a calm surrounding, but close to ancient city centre. It can easily be reached on foot by walking underneath the elevated railway track for about 2 km from the train station. In the house, the stairway is rather narrow and steep, so I enjoyed some exercise carrying suitcases. The room is a small studio with a bathroom - quite nice. Can't put a blame

The location was great, but there was no mention that you have to climb four narrow, steep stairs. It would also have been nice if there was some water in the room to drink after the stairs or for the coffee machine. I couldn’t get the coffee machine to work. I tried calling the hosts but couldn’t reach them—maybe the number in the information was wrong. I also found no pillows on the rooftop terrace.

The location, cleanliness, the room itself, and the peace and views were all excellent. This is very personal, but perhaps the pillow and the narrow stairs were a bit of an issue.
