The place nails a cool American mid‑century vibe that feels really stylish, and the rooms are huge. Checking in was a breeze—just punch the code and walk straight to the room. Getting to Asakusa is convenient, and being inside a mixed‑use building adds a fun twist that makes for great travel memories. On the downside, it’s a bare‑bones stay with no breakfast provided, the stairs are narrow and steep with no elevator—hard to manage with big luggage, there’s no TV, only blackout curtains (no sheer ones) so you can see straight into the room when they’re open, and there’s no room‑wear.

The spot was great and the neighbourhood quiet, perfect after a long day; walking or taking the train to Kuramae was a breeze, and the downstairs café was one of the few open early in the area. The room felt super comfortable and a bit larger than most other rooms we used on our trip. Light sleepers might notice some street noise at night, but it wasn't too busy and didn’t bother us.

The location was excellent, right near a lively area with plenty of transport links. The room was beautifully decorated, featuring a unique record player. Check‑in was easy and the staff communicated well.
