From the front door, the building is stunning – an old Genoese palace with a magnificent marble staircase that feels princely. The studio is brand‑new inside; though the gray tones don’t give the charm I’d like, the renovation is meticulous and well‑done. The air conditioning works flawlessly, the windows seal noise perfectly, though you can hear the “cart” traffic in the morning from the commercial area below, which also provides good security. The kitchen is fully equipped, though I didn’t use it, and I appreciated the two water bottles and welcome fruit. Everything is new, including the bed. The cameras at the alley entrance are reassuring. The spot works really well – it’s only 15 minutes from the station, and a taxi can take you easily. Many more tucked‑away spots in Genoa’s alleys can be nice and offer good value, but for a solo woman they’re not practical because walking the alleys when the shops are closed (and they’re quite narrow) or at night is uncomfortable. The only downside: the Wi‑Fi connection to the TV didn’t work. I might have liked softer, lower pillows and cotton pillowcases, but that’s a very personal preference.

The kitchen amenities and décor look nice, but the windows aren’t well sound‑sealed. The host was very strict about the 10:00 a.m. checkout, which feels universally early; a one‑hour late checkout would have been better.

Appartamento ampio, confortevole e pulitissimo, collocato proprio di fronte all'Acquario di Genova e al Porto Antico, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Genova. Proprietaria gentilissima. Molto costosi i parcheggi a pagamento intorno o vicini al BeB e il servizio Taxi. Consiglio senz'altro di viaggiare in treno e servizi pubblici
