“Such a lovely place, would come back again!”

The surroundings at Tanah Marah were truly exceptional: the forest, lemon trees, lake, row boat, sheep, cows, and fire pit were all wonderful. The children loved feeding the animals, and we appreciated the provision of animal feed. Picking lemons from the trees was also a delightful experience. The hosts, Linda and Lucy, were sincerely sincere and genuine, kind, thoughtful, and remembered our children’s names throughout the week. They replied to our messages promptly and were always ready to help. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay. The chalet floors were a bit dirty, and the kitchen appliances and BBQ weren’t the cleanest or well‑maintained. The laundry was in a separate shed, which was inconvenient. These are minor issues, but overall it’s an excellent place to stay.

It was beautiful, peaceful and scenic. One of the best places we’ve stayed, it surpassed our expectations. The stay was amazing. Linda and her family were warm, welcoming and very hospitable. The service was excellent and the location was perfect for a great getaway and rest. I’ll definitely come back! 😊

Loved the cozy chalets and the owners—Linda, Rory, Lucy, and Mel—who really care about sustainability. The lake, animals, and surrounding trees made it a peaceful retreat, and we’re already planning a return.
