I stayed there with breakfast included at a low price, and it was plenty for one person. Being close to the downtown area meant I could hear music all night long. The hotel is tucked into a local alley, giving it a local vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness, a recent room, and a 9/10 overall for the staff. The hotel’s location is a bit hard to spot: it’s accessed through a narrow passage between two buildings, not easily visible from the street, and only a small sign outside marks it.

The location was great, good value for money, and the breakfast was solid. The hotel also offered useful services for newcomers, like a SIM card and the option to book guided tours directly (e.g., Delta of the Mekong). The room had a large window and air conditioning. We could leave our luggage at reception before check‑in and after check‑out. The building felt a bit dated and had no elevator, so we had to use the stairs; fortunately we only had backpacks, not suitcases, since we were on the top floor.

“This could be a good stay, IF you get a room on level 1 or 2.”

I found the location convenient and the staff were very friendly, but carrying a 20 kg suitcase up five flights of stairs was a tough job for a 60‑year‑old grandfather, especially without a lift. The chair in my room had only three working legs, and a bar above my room was being set up at 2 am, dragging furniture across the floor for about 30 minutes, which made it impossible to sleep. The shower didn’t work properly. I had booked 11 days but left after one night, and the staff understood my decision to depart early.
