Best Western Marion Hotel

The breakfast area was spotless and offered a good range of food options, and the staff were friendly, even handing out freshly baked cookies when we arrived. The room itself had a slightly musty smell.

The bathroom was in poor condition, with mold and rust, and the ventilation grate was visibly dirty, removed and left outside the room when we checked in.

The staff were attentive and everything was clean, and honestly, nothing was lacking.

“Good for the price I paid”

The staff were genuinely friendly, especially Ms Cathy who kindly handed me a tray for breakfast when I seemed to be struggling; the breakfast itself was excellent and the room was spotless and quiet. However, the hallways felt hot and there were only a few TV channels available, which matched what I had read in earlier reviews.

“As stated above, the Maintenance Service and Breakfast setup were appreciated.”

The maintenance worker on floor 2 was outstanding, guiding us through the TV guide and channels, and the server who set up the breakfast items was very friendly and helpful. On the downside, when I tried to check in early at 1:30 pm to visit the Johnston City Lake Creek Cemetery for family headstone cleaning, I was told an additional $25 charge was required, which seemed unreasonable.
